PUMA Teamwear: The Ultimate Online, Personalized Product Experience
The PUMA Kit Factory, a single platform where consumers, retailers and sales representatives design teamwear together. Powered by Go Eve and 3D technology partner 270 Degrees.
One Stop Shop for a fragmented global teamwear market
PUMA wanted to grow their share of the global team and fanwear market, a market where consumers, retailers and sales representatives all design sportswear for clubs and teams.
Previously, every audience was served through a separate application. Maintaining all those systems consumed an enormous amount of time, changes rolled out slowly, and worse: the systems did not reinforce each other.
PUMA recognized that synergy between systems was needed to facilitate and realize the intended growth. They were looking for one platform that serves everything. A One Stop Shop. The answer is Go Eve.
Consumers · Retailers · Sales reps Design, save and share an entire outfit, not just a single product
PUMA knew in broad strokes what they needed. Together we translated that into the right set-up and expansion of Go Eve. Development went hand-in-hand with the customer. PUMA's wishes paired with our expertise.
A great example is the optimal user journey for putting together a complete PUMA outfit. It is now possible to design a combination of products. In PUMA's case, jerseys and a short. The "outfit flow" makes it as easy as possible to design, load, store and share entire outfits or product lines. The result: more products sold per session.
Outfit flow · Shirt + shorts Customers see their choices come to life, from every angle
The configurator we built lets customers assemble the product themselves. Every option is instantly visualized in a 3D model that can be admired from all sides. The 3D technology and visualization are made possible with partner 270 Degrees.
PUMA can instantly display chosen colors, logos, patterns, back numbers and names. Designed jerseys and shorts can be inspected from every angle, which makes the online product almost tangible for the customer.
Business rules driving the 3D model
The Business Manager lets PUMA set the optimal product configuration. Based on business rules, pre-sets or properties are loaded, and certain configuration options can be shown, or hidden, per audience.
By integrating business rules directly into the 3D model and user flow, features can be made available (or not) for specific customers. PUMA can offer extra shirt designs to sales representatives, give retailers access to their connected quotes, and define the full pricing structure per market.
Rules · Pricing · Per market Together, we tackled every challenge head-on, leveraged each other's strengths and just like in many sports, victory was not merely the result of individual talent, but rather the collective effort fueled by a shared passion.
