3D Rendering / 3D viewer
Converting 3D models into interactive images or animations using rendering software or an online 3D viewer. Go Eve supports several third-party 3D viewers such as SketchFab, Shapediver, 270 Degrees and HMX Media. 

3D assets
A collection of digital files that define a 3D object in a format ready for visualisation and rendering.

3D configurator
A tool that allows users to customise products in a 3D space with instant visual feedback.

3D content
All forms of digital media that contain 3D elements, such as models, animations, environments and effects.

3D ecommerce
Integrating 3D models into online shopping experiences for immersive product interaction.

3D model
A digital three-dimensional representation of a physical object or concept, used for visualisation or simulation.

Bounding box
The smallest box that completely encloses a 3D object and defines its outer dimensions. Often used to frame text inputs or user logos.

CAD
Computer-Aided Design software used to create accurate 2D and 3D models for engineering, architecture and manufacturing.

CPQ
Software that automates configuration, pricing and quotation generation for complex products. The Go Eve configurator is used to generate quotations for configured products.

CRM integration
Linking customer management systems (CRM) with other tools to ensure smooth data flow and functionality. Connect Go Eve to your CRM to retrieve and store customer data.

Configuration and business rules
Predefined conditions that ensure valid product configurations and prevent incompatible combinations.

Coordinate system
A 3D reference frame that uses the x, y and z axes to define the location and orientation of objects.

DWG
A proprietary file format from Autodesk used to store design data in both 2D and 3D.

DXF format

Dynamic selections
Real-time adjustment of available options in a configurator based on user choices. Also known as choice relationships or dependencies.

Dynamic visualisation
Visual content updated instantly in response to user input or external changes.

E-commerce integration
Linking e-commerce platforms with tools such as 3D configurators to optimise online sales. The Go Eve configurator can be connected to external e-commerce applications such as Shopify, Magento, Woocommerce and more.

ERP integration

Free placement structure
A configuration method in which components can be freely placed without fixed positions.

GLTF (gLTF)
A standardised file format for efficient transfer and display of 3D models.

Guided selling
A feature in CPQ systems that guides users or vendors in configuring products through recommendations and logic.

Immersive
An experience that fully immerses users by mimicking a realistic virtual environment.

Interactive 3D
3D environments or models that users can interact with or explore in real time.

Interactive configuration
The process of modifying a 3D product by interacting directly with the model in real time.

Interactive explainers / Scroll counting
A visualisation technique for animated explanation of a product. Animate the presentation of a product while scrolling and show relevant text to explain the different features of the product. 

Materials or textures
Surface details such as colour, patterns or graphics applied to 3D models for realism.

Mobile compatibility
Ensuring that tools such as CPQ or configurators work properly on mobile devices. Go Eve's front-end is mobile-optimised as a reactive Progressive Web App for a smooth mobile experience.

Model Manager
Go Eve's back-end application for managing product configurator models. Set options, manage prices and provide product configurators with relevant production data.

Modular product
A customisable product made up of interchangeable parts or modules.

Non-modular product
A product with fixed components that can be visually personalised with colours or materials.

OBJ format
A widely used file format for storing 3D geometry, including vertices, normals and textures.

PBR Material
